Day 1 - Guwahati Airport / Rly Station to Shillong - Transfer

Approx Distance: 100 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 hrs
On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Shillong, which is also called the 'Scotland of the East". On the way visit a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills Umium Lake (Barapani). You may do the water sports here (Optional). On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening you can visit Police Bazaar by walk which is the biggest local market. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 2 - Shillong to Jowai - Excursion

Approx Distance: 110 Km • Est. Travel Time: 4 hrs
After early breakfast start full day excursion to Jowai, headquarters of the Jaintia Hills district is situated 66 kms away from Shillong, along the Shillong-Silchar national highway. A picturesque town circled by the majestic Myntdu River. Jowai was the summer capital of the Jaintia Kings, of Sutnga State. You will visit India’s most magical waterfall – Krang Suri, Meghalaya. A moment of silence to acknowledge how beautiful this waterfall is! Later drive to Tryshi Waterfalls, A bridge connects the waterfall’s surroundings with an expanse of green paddy fields. A breathtaking panoramic view of the Pynthor Nein is visible from the bridge. Next you will stop at Thadlaskein Lake where you can enjoy boating. Afternoon proceed to The Nartiang menhir measure 27 feet in height above the ground, 6 feet in breadth and 2 feet 6 inches in thickness. The monoliths represent the megalithic culture of the Hynniewtrep people. A 500 Years old temple of Durga is another attraction at Nartiang. Evening back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 3 - Shillong to Cherrapunjee - Transfer via Mawlynong and Dawki

Approx Distance: 200 Km • Est. Travel Time: 7 hrs
After breakfast visit Mawlynnong Village the cleanest village in Asia. This cute and colorful little village is known for its cleanliness. It is situated 90 kms. From Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the Living Root Bridge and the strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. After that proceed to Dawki, Dawki is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. You can enjoy boating in the crystal clear waters of the Umgnot River. Evening proceed to Cherrapunjee. On arrival check in to hotel. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.
Note: Sohra (Cherrapunjee) & Dawki are rich by their own unique beauty & full of natural elegance. The places are paradise of nature lovers, explorers & travel enthusiastic. But these destinations are equipped with very limited options, facilities & basic amenities. Even best hotels are equivalent to basic 3*. That too without Fan (at few places), AC & Lift. Standard Accommodations over there are available; just with clean rooms, hygienic bathroom & basic non vegetarian food (very limited options are there for vegetarian guests).

Day 4 - Cherrapunjee - Local Sightseeing

Get up early to enjoy the mesmerizing mornings of Cherrapunjee. Visit Eco Park, Garden of Caves, Arwah Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.
Optional Activity - Proceed for a full day trekking to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge (Closed on Sunday) at Nongriat Village. Need to trek approx. 3200 steps each way to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge (Closed on Sunday). We can further trek down to the Rainbow Falls which take about 60 to 90 minutes from the Double Decker Living Root Bridge (Closed on Sunday).

Day 5 - Cherrapunjee to Shillong - Transfer via Mawsynram – Mawphlang

Approx Distance: 150 Km • Est. Travel Time: 5 hrs
After breakfast check out from hotel and visit Laitlum Canyon, literally meaning “End of the Hills,” where you will be greeted with spectacular views of rolling green hills blanketed in misty white clouds. Continue to the famous Shillong Peak, perched at an altitude of 6,449 feet above sea level, offering a panoramic bird’s-eye view of the entire Shillong city and its surroundings. Next, visit the picturesque Elephant Falls, a two-tier cascade where a mountain stream gracefully tumbles through fern-covered rocks into serene pools. Later, head to the mystical Mawphlang Sacred Forest, one of the largest sacred groves in Meghalaya, preserved for centuries by the local community under the belief that it is protected by deities. By evening, return to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 6 - Shillong to Guwahati Airport / Rly Station - Transfer

Approx Distance: 100 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 hrs
After breakfast check-out from hotel & drive to Guwahati. Visit Kamakhya Temple (Timing: 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till its gets dark). After that transfer to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey.
Note: Temple visit will depends as per time permits.

• Booking is Non-Refundable.
• No Refund will be applicable if tour or any related service is cancelled due to Natural Calamities.
• Booking is subject to cancellation if payment is not received before the given time limit.
• Client has to pay the difference amount if there is any difference in the package amount while booking.
• Booking will only be processed after receiving advance booking amount.
