Day 1 : Title
Description
Arrival at Cochin , meet our representative and transfer to Munnar (150 kms / 5 hrs drive) enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls(Cheeyappara), high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. On the way visit Valara, Cheeyappara waterfalls and witness tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lush green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low population too far from pollution, most of the area covered by Tata tea. Check in and relax in the evening at the hotel.

Description
Morning after breakfast at 9am proceed for Munnar sightseeing which includes visiting Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu View Point, Eco Point , Blossom Point, Tea Museum etc. Afternoon visit Rajamala( Eravikulam National Park)Open as per directions by the forest Authorities. Best place to see is Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragus Hilarious)- the mountain Goat of South India and Tea Museum. Evening you can visit Munnar Town.You can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional). After having Breakfast, we drive to Thekkady covering a distance of 110 kms / 4 hrs through Cardamom hills. Thekkady is a world famous wildlife Sanctuary called Periyar. On Arrival Check into the Resort . After lunch visit spice plantations like cardamom, Pepper, Coffee, and tea estate etc(Optional). Proceed for the Game viewing Cruise on Periyar Lake. Here you will see a large variety of animals like elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc. On the way back to the hotel you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. In the evening you can enjoy a cultural show ( Kathakali Kalaripayattu) on direct payment.You can take an elephant ride(optional). Overnight at Thekkady
